Bill: No doubt about the very favorable risk/reward. I guess what I am trying to say is that I have found it much easier to make money in other sectors of the market. When all or most of the fundamental and technical factors impacting a sector such as oil are bullish one can be reasonable certain the stocks will move up. Can anyone doubt that oil and oil stocks will soar if turmoil breaks out in the Mideast?

But this is not true for gold. Fed easing, a sharp drop in the dollar, and tremendous global financial turmoil are the kinds of things that should have pushed gold up a lot considering how far the price has fallen. But no cigar so far.
