China Eyes Euro

biz.yahoo.com

Surprising that there isn't more of a Euro discussion in this country. What will the FED do when Foreign central banks not only stop demanding dollars, but also sell existing reserves?

As for being "cynical" I hope everyone has come away with at least that from watching this thread. When gold collapsed in 97, the PRIMARY rationale given by the likes of UBS, ML was Central Bank gold sales in connection with the coming Euro. We heard nothing about the far more important implications for the dollar, with bullish implications for gold. Oh and coincidentally, UBS and ML were among those that recently bailed out a hedge fund they financed which was short gold, all under FED direction .
