Well, the first quarter of this portfolio has passed, and I have been to chicken resulting in passing on some nice gains. I almost bought CSCO and DELL back in the 40's, and CIEN in the 8's. Unfortunately, almost doesn't count. I also almost bought GMSTF in the lower 30's. Enough of the shoulda, coulda, woulda's. Lessons have been learned, hopefully they will be applied to future possibilities.
RVT has recovered and is now a profitable position because of the dividend. RVT is now worth $14,111.81. Cash is still $89,549.43. The portfolio stands at $103,661.24, +3.661% vs. +2.48% for the S&P 500.
Apparently, the demise of the market was gravely exaggerated.
