Last week, Toshiba, Hitachi and NEC either reported large losses for the 6 month 9/30 reporting period, or reported that they would report them (NEC was the latter). Now Nikon also reports losses for the period:

Japanese electronics companies, even the big ones, appear to be in trouble. Does anyone see any one these failing over the next year or two, despite their size? Or do they have enough cash to see their way through (or will the gov't make sure that they survive)? Who would be the most vulnerable? Even if they were in serious trouble, it would probably be impossible for us to tell just how much so, but I throw the question out in case someone thinks they know.
