Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that the top speed of ATM is 622Mb/s. Is this theoretical and asymtotic like ethernet? Can ATM progress to 'Fast' ATM and 'Faster' ATM as Ethernet has progressed to Fast and Giga? Does anyone know of testing to push the top speed? fellow
