I finally had a chance to listen to the conference call and I have to say that I can understand why those who are fairly new to the company would have questions about how WAVX makes money after listening to it. It's almost completely about the security end of things and frankly, the company hasn't made it entirely clear (to my knowledge)what if any cut they will take off of purely security-related transactions (those not involving sale of electronic content through the meter). Anyway, as others have been saying the key here is that this is a way to get the meter onto PCs and that once it's on board then we can start selling content through it and that's where the money will come. Regarding what sort of percentage we take, I think that varies a lot according to the contract the providers work out with WAVX. It definitely is contingent on volume, with larger sales volume leading to a lower percentage. To sell my novel over GSN, for instance, WAVX gets a 50% cut because it's such low volume. Anyway, it was great to hear the call and I'm more excited than ever. I'm going to try not to sweat the market too much. We'll get out of this rut soon. Looking forward to Comdex and to more announcements.

PS -- went over to RB and gave up after reading a few posts. It gets all but unreadable over there at times. Man, who has time to keep up with all of that!
