Question...

if brazil cuts spending and raises taxes in return for imf funding wouldn't that slow down growth in brazil and force them into a greater depression...thus sending the rest of the region into recession thus slowing US growth...?
i guess they are trying to prevent the flight of capital leaving the country....??? how does that work?
what do they plan to do with the IMF money?
