Edwarda...From my long-standing observation as long as there are people around like you and Zaxabowow I know there are still people left who don't own the stock..:-)

3 Com, which I used to own, then sold before it began it's decline, was a good company, but I bought one that was better, CSCO....Your friend who says a good company is not always a good investment is exactly right, that's why I sold COMS....The key is not to find a good company, but find the BEST....When it's the best there will always be buyers around, the P/E is irrelevant.

I now only own the best, and as long as they continue to be the best, I will own them....I don't have a buy and hold FOREVER style of investing...I have a buy and hold until the company stumbles badly style.....It's a can't lose style...It's served me quite well for quite some time.
