In point of fact, I am not a value investor--more like a switch hitter. A background in value investing has led me to pick entry points in growth stocks with an eye toward optimizing the profit. Examples (and I am not doing a gee whiz! Just to establish my credentials that I am a growth investor): I was early onto CSCO; flew the coop on NOVL when it started to fall apart; blew out of BNYN when it was still supposed to hot stuff; made money and then went down in flames on IFMX but called the bottom on ORCL way back; spotted FORE early.

I am simply sharing the observation that being "price sensitive" can aid one even in a high-growth area such as technology.

It is another arrow in one's quiver.
