certainly if Foster had been sleeping with Hillary, it would be regarded as an ethical lapse. It would be a tough blow to have to acknowledge to yourself that you failed to uphold professional ethics representing the first lady of the US.

I feeling of professional failure and a resultant inability to do one's job would definitely cause severe depression. Most people place a high importance on doing their job well. It ties in with their sense of self, who they are.

Now the Hillary crack, definitely presented as a laughing matter, was presented by the ever thoughtful JLA, not you. You apparently took it seriously, or something, another riff to bash a dead man over. Then you go off into this professional failure thing. I don't think you know the first thing about depression.

And if anything accentuated Vince Foster's depression, it was probably the Clinton-hating political attacks he found himself inevitably enmeshed in. Politics is a blood sport these days, and most of you guys seem to like it that way. Some find Clinton hatred funny, others just like to wade into it as deeply as they can, being good Christians and all. Sorry if I got confused with you.
