Why don't we go back
to the original translation of the Bible and then we can discuss...sex, violence, incest, hatred against one's parents as a prerequisite to honoring your God.
Tex, you wrote the above to Dan, but I'd like to take you up on this challenge. It's no step for a stepper.!! And remember, it will be as you suggested, on your terms, back to the original language. Are you prepared? I must warn you though, it appears from your writings that you know nothing of the original language. Still want to continue?
You also boasted of the following: Dan! You seem to imply that I haven't read the Bible. If that is the case, why do you think I know about the sex, the violence, incest, and hatred that is there.
If it is really the case then why do you not know of the love, grace and salvation of God that is there? If it really is the case, why then do you not know the true saying of my Lord Jesus? Why do you parrot the misdeeds and lies of others who have no clue as to what Jesus said or intended? If you really did read the Bible, why then do you put words in the mouth of my Lord Jesus? _______ _______ So you want to discuss the original version Tex? That's just the way I like it. Let's see where shall we begin? Where in the original language would you like to begin Tex dude? How about we start with the katabole, seems like a likely beginning. Or if that is too advanced for you then, how about we start with miseo, by extension, of course. Are you up to it? Maybe you better call on your gods to help you, since it will be my God, the great I AM, who will be leading me.
Or if you would like I will give you a couple of years to brush up on your original language version of the Bible.
But if you really think you are ready then let's begin.
Sincerely, Shalom...><> BTW Tex, I told you in a previous post I don't have time for games, and I do take the word of my God very seriously, so if you have a legitimate concern, then put it out on the table, if not then please, for your own benefit stop cursing and blaming God for the ills in this world.
