Robert, you have to look at Steve's remarks in context. To see what I mean, check out this thread: #Subject-16571.

To make a long story short, Westergaard put a $5000 bounty on the "unmasking" of Pluvia because Pluvia had been writing at length about, to be polite, "misrepresentation" going on at PLSIA. Ultimately Pluvia was proven right, PLSIA was delisted, and there are all sorts of class actions suits against them. Yet Westergaard insists he "won" and continues to paint Pluvia as dishonest.

If nothing else, Westergaard's actions show just how dangerous it is to stifle dissenting opinions.
