cb, sounds fair enough. malpractice needs to be addressed and doctors that injure people by doing off the wall things ought to be held accountable.
i know a lot of people who want entitlements ;-) may i step to the front of the line? ;-) i'm a good guy so pay me. i think i made my points. working hard doesn't guarantee wealth. in theory, yes. in real life, no. doctors are no exceptions.
wanting supply controls while, at the same time, extolling the virtues of the free market is not consistent. it is enriching, but not consistent. if you regulate the input then it makes sense to regulate the output. tit for tat. i don't know how to do so fairly, but it needs to be done. maybe no regulation, in or out, is the answer. i don't know.
doctors are given a kind of super status in society. some of them abuse it while others just get the job done with lots of compassion. i couldn't be a physician b/c i don't like to see people in pain. i mean, i don't like it and i think it would wear down my psychological state after a while.
hey, i'm trying to defend both of you, doctors and lawyers. responsible members of each profession do have a place in society and an honorable one. the riff raff need to be dealt with, but not with generalities. it is all too easy to operate toward the lowest common denominator. i see it all the time in supervision work. treat every employee like they are the worst.
i don't supervise like that.
good luck. |
