One should not lose sight of the fact that even though the private placement price would be "on par" with the stock's market price right now (i.e. @ 40 cents), the private "placEES" also get warrants excercisable at some future date. Thus, they don't necessarily need to be "protected" be having an automatically "in-the-money" deal. It is just that this is usually the case.

My understanding is that the financing is not really that much of a problem.

Sounds to me like there is more "optimizing" going on with respect to the general business planning and operational and marketing/distribution side. And that the thinking by management, is that we will see a payoff on the stock price side by tweeking our strategies and operational planning now and thus this is where our focus should be, regardless of the impatience of shareholders.

I definitely feel that the real "performance" of this stock will have to come once everything is really IN PLACE. I don't think management wants to even start promoting the stock until they have a real sound story and can back it up with timely earnings reports that continue to impress those they've told the story to.

For now, we'll have to see what happens with the private placement and shareholder approval meeting. My gut says that there will be good news coming soon enough.
