If Intel were smart (and I recall that they are), they'll set up the shareholders meeting so that anyone with a computer and an internnet connection can tap into it and attend as a live video conference. This would demonstrate to the world in no uncertain terms what communications technology is all about.

I remember attending last year's meeting in San Francisco and was disappointed at the number of employees that attended. Only later did I find out that many of them attended from a closed circuit video conference from their desktop computers. I'm guessing this was a test for what is to come. Maybe this is the year they'll open it to the masses.
