Ted,

On January 1, 1997 you wrote, "If this is a recommended stock, why is the price in freefall? Why has it lost 30% of its value although it supposedly will post good earnings in January?"

Cirrus went down in December for two reasons that I can see. One, the Rockwell buyout rumor that had previously boosted the stock did not materialize. Rockwell ended up buying only a small insignificant division of CRUS. Two, end of year tax selling.
