Interesting ... spoke to NDB and they tell me they have not had any other problems such as mine reported. Meanwhile, it seems that there are a lot of people who have had this problem since NDB's order page automatically puts in the buy and sell, depending on how the page is accessed. When a trader is placing a market order, they sometimes rush through and do not notice the "buy" or "sell" recommendation, especially since in some cases, the entire confirmation page does not show up but has to be scrolled through. My mistake, I was in a rush and did not scroll.

But if enough people with NDB call ... they will change the site so that it can be done manually. It is simply checking a box ... I usually do not place market orders so I have learned a valuable lesson. To be thorough, whether in a hurry or not. And to everyone with NDB ... check your confirmation before placing the order.
