Leading Web Community Promotes Networds as Free, Easy
Names for
GeoCities Sites
NEW YORK, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- GeoCities
(NASDAQ:GCTY), the largest and

today
announced an agreement to offer and promote Networds, simple,
memorable names
for GeoCities addresses. Under the terms of the agreement,
GeoCities
Homesteaders (members who create Web sites) may create Free
Networds(TM) for
their GeoCities sites, and other Internet addresses. GeoCities will
publicize
Networds extensively within their communities and to
Homesteaders.
Homesteader sites utilizing Networds will also continue to be
accessible with
their original community-based GeoCities URL.
