I give up. I thought Dell was going to stay with the present business model, ie, direct sales and BTO. If they recruit dealers, isn't this going to be a major shift in the model? It would seem that Dell's and Compaq's business models were merging into the same model.

Where did you get the above information that was contained in your posting?

Thanks for the help in understanding what Dell is doing.
