Kelcord International Announces Agreement to Build Processing Plant
BOHEMIA, N.Y., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Kelcord International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: KLCI - news) announces that it has entered into an agreement with NEO-Plasma, a private engineering firm, to build an ore-processing plant. The plant will be used to process and recover precious metals from Kelcord's ore using the very latest gas plasma technology. It will have a design processing capacity in excess of one (1) ton per day. This plant is an improved design over the prototype plant that has been utilized for testing and developmental work for the past seven months. This new plant will be owned in its entirety by Kelcord.
Construction of the plant is expected to take approximately two (2) months. The construction contract also gives Kelcord the right to build additional plants.
According to Kelcord's spokesperson, Don Rose, ''We are extremely excited to be able to take this step. This is a major advancement for Kelcord. We have spent many months designing and improving the ore recovery process. Results of testing and production on the smaller proof-of-concept plant are very encouraging, and it is time to get into production on a larger scale. The signing of this contract means that we are on schedule to meet or exceed our company goals.''
Kelcord anticipates that the income stream derived from the operation of this plant will facilitate the construction of even more processing facilities. Furthermore, negotiations are continuing with Science Applications International Corporation, (SAIC), for the utilization of their already existing plant in Idaho for the processing of Kelcord's ore. Testing has also been extensively conducted on this SAIC plant and its output over the past year, and assay/processing results have been consistently positive. The successful conclusion of these negotiations would continue to expand Kelcord's ore processing capabilities.
