Isn't Steve saying he thinks he can offset cap gains and get back in before the train leaves the station? My thoughts are to look to offset any cap gains I might have for 1998. That will still leave me plenty of shares. I want to be careful how I do this, as I want to be able to buy those shares back in 31 days-- if the stock looks good at that time. Otherwise, I just have to look for other investments that look better. That said, I am looking for companies that will be involved in fiber optics and networking. I guess I'm in decent company... exchange2000.com Anyone here have any interesting ideas? Somebody out there today is seeing the value in MRVC. Sector said the company is presenting at a few dog-and-pony shows, and perhaps insiders will buy some shares during this window-- which would make me feel a little bit more secure. As you say, it may take a few quarters, but the direction seems focussed. For all the negatives, management seems to have a pretty decent plan for where they want to take the company. Web
