Progress on 18-4 No. 1 Pelahatchie field well completion Westfort Energy Ltd WT Shares issued 22,230,583 Oct 30 close $0.85 Mon 2 Nov 98 News Release Ms. Jean Williams reports Upon cementing and perforating the 18-4 No. 1 Pelahatchie field well in the 11,300 foot Hosston formation and after swabbing 450 barrels of fluid, significant shows of oil have been indicated, together with appreciable amounts of water. The company's completion engineer believes that the water is entering the well from a formation above the production interval. A cement squeeze to shut off the flow of water has been recommended and work to accomplish the same will commence tomorrow.
