Fall 1998 Chilean Work Program
Rock Resources is receiving bids for its upcoming geophysical work program in Chile. Once a decision has been made it will be in a position to announce the commencement of its work program.
Expropriation
The company recently met again with the government of British Columbia with respect to its compensation negotiations and can report that favourable progress is being made by the government in initiating its mandate as referred to in Stockwatch May 1, 1998.
Other Business
The company did not proceed with its private placement of 600,000 units at 50 cents as announced in Stockwatch May 12, 1998, due to continuing deteriorating market conditions at the time.
The company withdrew its $100,000 convertible debenture as announced in Stockwatch July 6, 1998 due to the continuing deteriorating market conditions.
Jim Hirst has resigned as a director of the company due to new responsibilities in another jurisdiction.
