If Fong wins that goes a long way towards proving your earlier theory - that Reps in CA must be now be pro-choice to win state-wide. I just hope the people haven't bought Boxer's despicable lies about Fong's position. Look at all this in the papers about abortion with regards to Fong and Boxer. It looks like thats all anybody cares about in Ca... a few other articles on crime and thats it. BTW traditional values stuff like this will absolutely KILL Fong here: Post said he objected to a $50,000 contribution that Fong made with leftover campaign funds to the Traditional Values Coalition, an Orange County group that opposes legalized abortion and gay rights.
