Hello Wiley,
If you are trading Options in a 14 day period, I would suggest you look for stocks that are in a nice upward trend.... Stay away from "day trading" in this case... You do not need "real time" data, you need End of Day data....
I trade options in a similar fashion. I only look at STRONG big cap companies that are capable of moving 10 or more point in a week or so. I then watch their charts for signs of a breakout then buy calls instead of the stock.
The companies I would look at would include LU, MSFT, INTL, IBM, ABT, ACCOB, AHP, AMGN, ASND, BMY, CSCO, DELL, DIS, EMC, GE, HNZ, KO, LLY, MCD, MRK, PFE, PG, SGP, SLE, WMT, XON, XRX, YHOO, WLA.
All of the above mentioned stocks are capable of moving 10 or more points in a week. Once I identify what I believe is the start of a move, I would buy calls at least 3 months out and at or in the money.
If the charts reverses on me, I sell....
