<<Seems you are coming back to the same old thread where no matter how good your calls on the market and individual stocks are they still bash you!>>

Interesting, isn't it? What puzzles me is why posters such as TokyoMex, who has a long track record of spectacular losses get so much attention.

I think a lot of it has to do with the inability of many of these people to stop their compulsive gambling and start investing. I can't begin to recall the number of times I've been criticized for making a "bad call", simply because the stock went in the opposite direction the day (or sometimes the hour) after I picked it (short or long) - only to have it prove itself a big winner in the long run.

I would bet (pun intended) that each SI poster were given a bag of casino chips, and the casino gave them the option of immediately trading their chips for the casino's stock at a 50% discount - the only caveat being that the stock could not be sold for 1 year, most of these people would probably reject the offer and run to the craps tables.
