This ain't necessarily related to your msg, Spots, though that was interesting. But can anybody help me out with a problem? I recently bought a new barebones system(case, CPU((AMD K6-2 300)) and power supply). It's a pcchps m577 motherboard. Removed hard drive, floppy drive cd drive, modem and video card from old machine. Installed in new machine along with a 64mb dimm chip. Tried to boot. Power comes on, power supply and cpu fans start spinning. Lights on keyboard flash. However, there is no video signal ("no signal input" displays on monitor). I tried moving video card(pci) to another slot. Even tried a different video card with same results. PC does start beeping violently after a few moments. Anybody have any ideas?
