Downgrade Plays from Briefing; Part 2 of a Continuing Series. Mixed bag...for the most part (K the exception), the winners were the ones that gapped down hard. Definition of a winner here is one point. Morgan chip Equip maker downgrades split- 2 didn't gap down (SUGI, LRCX) and wouldn't have worked, 2 (DPMI, ASMLF) gapped down and would have been good. CCI gapped down, either a quick winner or a day long hold for a winner. AMD, ONSL gapped up despite downgrade, no play. ABRX would have been good. MDT was a beautiful thing. Gapped down and flew. CS First Boston shot themselves in the foot on this downgrade. Will continue monitoring unless I hear otherwise. Jay
