I wonder to myself if we aren't in post-America. Somewhere the country just vanished when we weren't paying attention. This is the land of What Came Next. Here in So Cal I suspect it's even more pronounced. Patriotism here is often to a homeland someplace else. The only thing uniting this populace is a love of prosperity and nice weather.
