Some more ramblings: 1. Roy S. is probably right. What makes any of us think that the switch is so darn hard to duplicate. 3Com throws a little money and brainpower at Gadzooks and ... Viola! Cisco can do even better. Our dear ANCR could give one of the other networkers a better leg up ... but at what premium? Probably not as good as we would hope for. Probably closer to what Roy has in mind than what we have in mind. 2. I commented in the past that ANCR management probably has a cozier relationship with the Reg D boys than we would care to think. How could they possibly screw us, the long-term investors. I already have the bill from my proctologist to prove how bad it can get. Don't think they're on our side. Not for a minute.
