Thanks for the heads-up on reconversions. I'm one of the unlucky
ones who has IRA losses this year. Anyway, I called today and it
looks like a letter with the relevant account numbers is all that's
required to reconvert back to the regular IRA. It does look like
you need to start the Roth conversion over from scratch. I got
slightly mixed information on this: the NY office implied that it
could all be taken care of with the letter, which should go to the
branch office. The branch office gave me the two step process.

I'll let you know what the turnaround time is like. It does bug me
a little that there could be a period of days when I'll be without
the conversion account. What if my holdings go through the roof
then?! Guess that would be good in its own way...
