CNNFN - Just a short mention of Ciena and that they definitely had a major contract that would be announced Wednesday. Commentator also said that CIEN officials would be meeting with analysts Wednesday and Thursday - for what reason I'm not sure. Perhaps someone else watched and could explain the meeting with analysts better than me. Personally, I think that a major contract announcement, along with an announcement of better than expected revenues for '99 (because of new contract[s]) by the CEO of Ciena will be a prelude to a TLAB/CIEN deal. Just my guess....
