Mosely-Braun and Dick Durbin. A far cry from Senators Douglas (as a college prof of mine once reminded me, that's Mr. Senator Douglas to you) and Dirksen. Or even Percy and Stevenson. Or Simon and Dixon for that matter. The ballot in Missouri had something like 8 statewide propositions. Not quite up to California standards yet. I liked voting more in the days when we voted for people instead of propositions.
