The Law firm of Stull, Stull & Brody in NYC filed a lawsuit against CPQ for shareholders during the period from 07/10/97 thru and including 03/06/98 for violation of Federal Securites Law. This involved allegations that CPQ misled the public (which includes witholding information regarding stuffing the channel), therby inflating the value of CPQ while insiders sold out of (or a part of)their positions.

The suit was filed 04/16/98 in the US District Court, Southern District of Texas, Houston Division.

Hope this information is useful.
