Patrick,

My experiences with NGO/Profit have been positive. I have managed to create a number of models that consistently pull money out of the market.

However, these models are based on intermarket relationships which began to deteriorate in late July. So the models suffered some big drawdowns, up until about late September. My guess is that the relationships the model is based on diverged from the historical norm for a period. The good news is these models have made a tidy profit the last month or so, without being retrained. I assume things are back to normal (if there is such a thing!).

I was trading OEX options based on one of my nets but halted that when their performance declined. Since then I have only paper traded them.

This reinforces my thoughts that any form of a trading system should be complemented with other forms of analysis.

BTW, I've watched you trade over in the Systems, Strategies and Resources for Trading Futures forum. You can really pick up a lot reading what you and the others in the forum are watching (support/resistance, TRIN, etc).

I've also started to apply some of this to the nets I am currently building with good results.
