TNSI Get's American Express Account...
RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 1997--Transaction Network Services, Inc. (TNS) (NASDAQ:TNSI) announced today that it has signed a multi-year agreement with American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. (AMEX) (NYSE:AXP) to provide transaction transport services directly to one of the largest credit card issuers and processors. Effective January 1, the contract is worth over $6 million.
American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the American Express Company, a diversified worldwide travel and financial services company founded in 1850. It is a leader in charge and credit cards, Travelers Cheques, travel, financial planning, investment products, insurance and international banking.
