Log Point Announces SuperSpeed Hardware Designs
for Commercial Distribution

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 1998--Log Point Technologies Inc. (OTC BB:LGPT - news) announced Tuesday, at the Embedded Systems West trade show, that several forms of its SuperSpeed(tm) floating-point hardware designs are available for commercial distribution.

The hardware designs include enhancements to conventional floating-point designs by using several hundred gates on a
silicon chip to increase the speed of square root, reciprocal square root, and other functions by five to twenty times. Also, the hardware designs include complete SuperSpeed hardware floating-point systems that offer blinding speed while slashing silicon area and power consumption. Other designs continue to be developed.

According to Dr. Samuel Shanks, Log Point president: ''These hardware designs give us powerful new products to produce explosive revenue growth through licensing. Also, these hardware designs will be used to produce our own chips for commercial distribution.''
