Good post.

My personal concern is that without strong
republican pressure, a tax cut will not be
considered. Yet, the flexibility to cut taxes
is critical to avoid further nasty repurcussions.

Perhaps, tax cuts would be preferable to interest
rate cuts as economic hazard insurance.
