Excellent, and thx, Alex. Did you catch the latest Drudge Buzz? Seems ABC Network had already called many of the elections complete with final vote totals and percentages on their website late last night.
Drudge found this info and mirrored it on his site before contacting ABC for a statement.

All of a sudden ABC yanked their website ...

BTW, communications satellite Galaxy 5 is due to be Y2K tested in the midst of the heaviest part of the Leonid meteor shower on Nov 17.
This particular satellite carries 40% of the telecommunications, 50% of the TV communications and 40% of the banking transactions. It is given a 90% chance of FAILURE by those conducting the test.

Hopes are not high, especially since the Galaxy 4 went bonkers on them about 4 months ago, cutting off pagers AND MOST OF THE NATIONS LIVE COMMODITY BROKERAGE QUOTE SERVERS for almost 10days, when they conducted their first Y2K test.

They already had Galaxy 6 ready for shifting business customers over to incase the worst happened which it DID.

The industry testors picked Galaxy 4 because it was supposedly the one that would affect the least critical services for their first y2k test.

When Galaxy 5 fails Nov 17, the gov't will blame t'Leonid Meteor Shower. Stay tuned.

Have you bought your gold coins, bottled water, and pinto beans yet?
