Hanifen's Complete Estimate

Clayton Williams Energy (CWEI) New Estimates

4thQEPS/CFPS 1996EPS/CFPS 1997EPS/CFPS 1998EPS/CFPS
Rodman, Renshaw 0.58/1.34 1.56/4.90 1.13/5.25 2.05/6.35
Paine Webber 0.56/1.31 1.70/4.86 1.29/4.15
Hanifen, Imhoff 0.60/1.40 1.74/4.95 1.32/5.06 1.27/5.82
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Average 0.58/1.35 1.67/4.90 1.25/4.82 1.66/6.09

CWEI has beaten every previous estimate by 25%. Hanifen was closest
last quarter at 0.36, actual was 0.45. Now the question is: can CWEI
do it again??? If CWEI's production is up very much over the third
quarter numbers, the answer should be yes, because we know CWEI
received considerably more for oil and gas in the fourth quarter.

Earlier I had mentioned that CWEI had a concern with Hanifen's 1997
numbers--I don't see anything there???
