I went to the abcnews.com site and couldnt find those "projections" or whatever they are... can you post a link? I did discover this regarding the Ca gov race - In what is likely the most important election this cycle, the Republicans will try and continue their 16-year stronghold in the governor's seat, which is up for grabs because Gov. Pete Wilson is term limited. Davis (D) has focused on HMOs, abortion, the environment and gun control, while Lungren (R) has targeted crime and the character of his opponent. The winner not only governs the world's seventh-largest economy, but also becomes a major figure nationally. You cannot win when your campaign is based on negative Clinton-inspired character attacks. Thats my prediction anyway. What a bunch of losers the republicans are in Ca with regards to this race, whoever ran Lungrens campaign should be fired. Of course he was at a huge disadvantage right off the top as soon as I gave my Davis contribution party.
