Does anyone agree that the strong support for the Mac OS system could be a bad move on the part of Symantec?
They have recently reiterated 2 or three times in the news how they support Macintosh and how they will continue producing products as usual and making new products for them also for their new unproven operating system from Next Software. I personally think this is a bad move with the uncertainty surrounding Apple and their projected earnings for now and in the future expected to be lower. I still like Symantec and what they are doing with Java programs and the stock price has also done well which I expect to continue in the near future, but I think in the long run they could be hurt by their support for the Mac.
