marc, no flack here but somewhat of a negative tone.

<the largest usa deployment to date>

I hope your right about GTE. Read an interesting article in which another Clec outbid Gte in SF I think. Looked like hdsl speeds w/ Pair equipment unless that was a different article. They run together as Im starting to do more reading than I have since the first of this year. Ill get a list of URLs during Thanksgiving if all goes well. Lets keep in mind that Charles Lee will be calling the shots @ BA for a period of years then leadership is passed to whoever the guy :} @ BA is if this thing goes through. As reported by Moneyline when it first happened. We read some debate on the Amati thread that adsl is not decided @ the top but Id guess it does or @ the least has a huge influence. Thats just my opinion.

<down the tubes by any means>

Skin of their teeth maybe but I also don't see pink slips. This company has the means to get financing & I think the Dr. did a good job w/ his advice. I hope they are listening to him & don't do something foolish instead.

Dug

P.S.
So, does Ba expanding service to 60 cities by year's end just mean that they announce which cities? Or, is there something else here as Im sure MZ isn't telling all he knows. Well, maybe not sure but another guess :}
