Funny, for years, they never did go after anyone down there until someone started messing around with those evil guns. Those issues (the children thing) are normally in the juristiction of local authorities, of course. Down in Texas, the locals were apparently an older type of conservative, live and let live, don't get too nosy. Too bad for the children of the Davidians. They didn't deserve to die, but they didn't deserve to start bearing children for Koresh at a tender age, either. On another topic, perhaps you might take up with jlallen the issue of Presidential control over regulatory agencies. You seem to imply that Clinton immediately had full control of and responsibility for the BATF, but jlallen has implied that Reagan never quite wrested the S&L agency away from the evil claws of Congress, until 8 years later or something. Is this part of the general problem that Clinton is to blame for everything wrong in the world? I'm confused, as ever.
