Zax< Datek Online have used.> If you back to last May and the start of the 'Things' incredible run up. I was posting constantly "Why is Datek the only brokerage in America that has any short shares available?". I did some research and as most here know they had a very seedy background. Even the NY times had run an article on an SEC investigation on this small on-line brokerage. There was also talk that Vinik was using Datek to skin the shorts of the little 100-500 lots. I never have or never will have an account with these guys. I'd open up an account with MSDW before I'd do that. I do believe though even today, that in a couple of ears, Datek will be making some rather interesting Headlines. God bless the screwed.
