This is for those who always complain that this thread is used for bashing ETrade ( but I do agree with the comments about the new web site ...) I have an account with Fidelity also. Recently they introduced voice / speech recognition, for those using the touch-tone phone system. The tragedy is - customers do not have a choice to select touch-tone/speech-recognition system. (Luckily ETrade provides a choice). So when one keys in the symbol to get a quote, if there is noise/voice/sound in the background the system takes it as input and immediately says it can not recognize the input and it asks you to input the symbol again... This happened to me today in office; Even if I some one utters a word in the background, the system goes out of control... This is very frustrating... This is from Fidelity..... At least E*Trade did not do this mistake, I am happy for a change... Just my 2 cents... DB
