I sat in my broker's office a few weeks back, and he pulled down graphs on several small cap stocks, overlaying them on the screen. It was astonishing to see that all had about the same movement, even the sudden spurts, and various up and down cycles. You could pick any graph and it would work for any other company.

He said I'd be wasting my time to fool with small cap issues because the big money wasn't going in to those stocks, and the odds were against me for any degree of success. However, now everything I read and hear is about how 97 is going to be better.

Given the consistency of movment for these types of stocks, if there is a general incline in the small cap sector, then TOFF should go along for the ride. After all, there is always some sort of volume every day on TOFF.

I could also kick myself because last year I had a GTC order in for several weeks to buy 7,000 shares @ $.50, and wouldn't take it for $.625 the day I put in the order. It never came back, and went on up to just over $2. Now I'm wondering if I should add on given the brighter outlook for 97?

Do you think this dog will ever hunt? Maybe we ought to start a thread for "horror stories" and other bad experiences in the stock market.
