That analyst wasn't the only one that got burned by AMD; all of them got burned. AMD had manufacturing problems at the time and THAT is what caused the stock to plummet. I remember one analyst setting a price target of something like $80. Now, AMD has no manufacturing problems and what happened then will not happen again.

Upgrading at this price level indicates something good will be announced on Nov. 10/11.
