Re: News!!! FBNA Announces New Internet Search Engine

SEDONA (November 3) BUSINESS WIRED - FBN Associates (NAZDAQ: FBNA) announces a new internet search engine, code-named "Wicked Winged Amazonian Indian 2000". Unlike other newer search engines that are based on regional data, FBN's WWAI engine will use data synthesized for individual internet denizens.

Explains CEO TEDennis: "Each time we get a 'hit' from a WWAI surfer it is routed to one of our trained staff of 2000 Amazon Indians handling that locale. By reading the cookies stored on the users PC, accessing their credit history, credit card purchases, etc., we are able to better personalize the returned URLs."

FBN also announced plans to acquire Equifax, Experian (TRW), and Trans Union credit reporting services. Commented CFO Norma Red: "Taking over the three largest credit reporting services would certainly be a feather in our cap. Having access to the most intimate details about our users lives will surely help us serve them better."

According to industry analyst Tom Collins: "By the year 2005 we estimate 2 billion people will be surfing the net on a daily basis. Advertising revenues could top $2 trillion a year. If FBN can just get 1/10 of 1% of that, that would still be a lot of money. If that happens, we expect their stock price to go up from here."

In other news, FBN's Director of Internet Services, Bill Ulrich, today also announced that FBN has rescinded their offer to acquire CISCO Systems, Inc. Said Ulrich "We've decided that Bay Networks would be a more strategic fit."
