Products may be good management can't be trusted I'd rather put my money in Intel or
Cisco-excellent management with integrity.

Product transitions of the kind that SGI is undergoing are always hard. There are engineering bugs to fix, manufacturing ramp-up, marketing and predicting customer demand. However, if the products are successful, these problems soon disappear, the production costs go down and the company has clear sailing for the next couple years. As an investor in high-tech company, you have to recognize that. I think the current situation is an opportunity to buy SGI very cheap to what it'll be valued at within a couple years.
